I guess I should clarify a little, I'm already using Ofna 30k silicone oil for tube lube in the rear, and when the rear wheel was diffing out, I was typically pinching the car off a bit too much.

I suspect it's 9/10th's driver error, I really can't imagine needing to go even higher on tube lube, but I'll give it a go if the need arises when I get to race again in about a month.

did you try the links at all.stiff/soft settings the front and rear.the rear is to cut the front hole off of the pivot

I got try the links stiff and soft, and after that...

I haven't tried all of the different stiffness settings on the links. I know the stiff setting on the 1.5 front links was still a bit too soft for our track, the 1.8's on the soft setting is a nice bump in front stiffness without sliding the front around a lot.

On rear flex links, I've tried the 1.2's, 1.5's and fiberglass links all on the long positions, and I tried the fiberglass links in the short position once before traction came up on our track and before I had the NFE. Right now I'm using the 1.5's in the long position and waiting for 1.2's to show up on the webstore again so I can stock up and replace the set of 1.2's I damaged, and resume testing now that I have a usable tire combo.

Right now, I would say our track is medium traction with a fairly wide groove.

I think thats it, that looks like the revised 12R lipo chassis. I still have the orig. 12R chassis.

Definitely try gluing the front and rear tires. Just enough to calm it down. You may even want to go to a little less camber. Camber = steering and it may just be biting in too hard. This is not an issue with too light side tube lube or side spring rate. If the car feels good everywhere else, Try the changes i listed. If it is a little too aggressive still and you would like to see it easier to drive, try going a little lighter on the side spring rate or tube lube. What tires are you running up front?

Thanks, it's not hard to drive now, it was just something I noticed if I really pinched the car off in, or exiting, a 180. If I drove a smooth line, there was no drama, just a car with good corner speed and acceleration.

Ran CRC Magenta fronts and BSR Gray/White rears all day.

All the practice and help w/setup I had paid off. After over 20 years away from 1/12 I got fastest lap time of the day qualified second and took second in mod a main.

I need to try the sidewall gluing trick. Anyone have a link for good instructions on this?

I would try running 2x pink fronts. It will kill some of the excess digging that creates that diffing out. It wont feel that much different but will decrease the dig in tight sections.

When you glue the tires, just run a bead of glue along the edge where the foam meets the rim.
