Yep it was an 8x1. The manual shows a stick pack battery holder and I believe, as the Mission, it will only be with the S1 kit. Dont hold me to that though. Final details are being sorted this week.

the blue seal bearings that come with the Mission and Mi2 are of a very good quality, excellent seals, and durability so far has not been an issue.

Keep them clean and lightly oiled and they will last...(i had mine for 1 full season)

I recommend flushing them every couple of track days, and re oil with royal oil.

I purchased some acer dual polyamide bearings from the accer website, a full set cost me around 100 aud, and I found them no better than the new schumacher blue seals, in fact they look strikingly similar!

King-G Thanks for all the great updates on your Mi2!

Bearings...

King-G is correct about everything except the diff outdrive bearings. On the production Mi2 they will be 10x15x4 flanged bearings (U2762).

FYI guys, when building the shocks, on the Mi2, i have done some expertimentation with lengths, and found fronts to be best set to 65mm, and rear 67mm (measured end to end)..The reason for this is to allow adequate bump and droop measurments...

originally I built mine to the Kit specs of 64.4mm, but found I couldnt then use the outer 2 holes on the lower rear arm as this was resticting length therefore droop. And as we usually run less droop up front you can get away with less length, permitting further travel in bump.

I found the lengths were affecting bump travel up front, and droop travel in the rear, due to the slightly different geometries of towers and arms F/R

just a suggestion to look out for when building for the first time

otherwise, start with the manual suggested kit settings, the thang is dialled out of the box!!, even with a front diff I was quicker than I was with my mission (using a oneway mind you), I changed to a spool late on the second day of testing, and thats another story altogether!!!

Are these lengths at full extension?
