I would suggest just drop by lansdown and have a look. It is much more convenient for nitro, because there is no power source there. To run EP, i think you have to use the battery from your 1:1 car.
Or, I htink they are running all EP at the airport tennis court on wed nights. You might want to check that out.

For best parts support, the following two cars are the best here in Vancouver.
1. HPI R40 (parts at apollo hobbies)
2. Kyosho V one R EVO (Indy hobbies, but dont expect cheap prices)
3. Kyosho FW05R (it is a shaft driven car, the parts will be available soon because it is being promoted)
4. Mugen Mtx-3 (parts support getting worse, however, parts can always be ordered from overseas, in fact, that is what a lot of people do)
Hope this is a bit of a help to you.

Hope this is a bit of a help to you.

What about the HPI Super RS4??? But it doesn't have a 2 speed tranny. I really want something with a 2 speed tranny.

to get some fun out of that big rig you need a good brushless system, you can only use hpi bodies, hpi tires, hpi rims, everything hpi except for electroincs and batteries. also this car has no options and it uses the crapy fiber glass chassis
a good point for this car is bigger tires and higher ground clearence thanks to the worst surface on landsdown's parking lot, unfortunately

NO ELECtric, I hate charging batteries! Oh man, I guess I'll just go to the local hobby store in Langley and see whats available and whats good for parts supply. Maybe I'll get the Serpent Impulse if its 2 speed.
