What set-up do you guys think is the best for the xxx-s? Carpet? Asphalt? I aint run a tc before always gas truck so I am clueless on this thing! Help me out! If ya want to see what track it will be on check out toys for boys raceway also what kinda tires for the carpet and asphalt? Thanks alot. I am new to this board and have read a few post and most of you guys seem to know what you are talkin about!! Glad I found this place

Check out Hodge's setups on teamlosi.com. I've found his stuff is pretty neutral and comfortable to drive. You might want to try Lemeuix's setups, but a word of warning: Paulie's cars turn...A LOT!

I would agree with going with hodge setup for asphalt. One personal suggestion/space the front arms in the middle and shim the rear ball studs up with an arm spacer. Kinwald/Newman/Weiss sutup is to aggressive for most.

haha yeah i looked around and was actually gonna get a xxx-t...i wanted to try elec. motor stuff...then i found a xxx-s with a ton of parts and tires etc on ebay for cheap so i got it and now gettin it ready to race! thanks for the quick feedback
