Best feature the thing has is you can change the color of the LED power light.

Now that's racing!

Seriously though. The only downside, other than the price is the antenna. I have had 2 antenna's break on me. Not bend but the top level actually pull straight out. Don't ask me how but it did. Futaba sent me new ones so that was nice.

The trick is to find out the good and bad before you buy it. Sounds like you're just looking for reassurance.

mine did that too the top part got pulled out. unfortunately, no warranty for me so i shelled out for a new antenna

i like the flexibility of this radio, you can use FM, PCM, or HRS receivers, as well as the option of using an AM module.

dunno where to post this..did a search and doesnt seem to fit anywhere...

anyways, i have a futaba 3pj (i hope theres still people who uses this radio) and have problem when setting up the throttle throw. for the first half of throttle, the servo swings open really fast and about 3/4 of the carb is open...and the second half of throttle, the servo moves really really slow until the carb is fully opened. i tried messing around with the EXP. set it to +100%, nothing happens, set it to -100%, made things worse. anyone got a solution to the problem?

thanks
