I know Leisure Hours and TSRCAR in Cincinnati will both run electric touring and hopefully other hosts will take advantage and add something. The five previous race hosts will be racing at the same locations so all lodging and directions will be the same. I will post information for The Hobby Shop in Dayton soon. The 2013 schedule is:
May 18-19 Joliet
June 1-2 Toledo
June 29-30 Portage
July 20-21 Racine
August 10-11 Cincinnati
September 28-29 Dayton
If I'm reading that right, you've got a race in....Dayton?? Sweet!!!

The track in Dayton is semi-permanent. Its in a parking lot of a mall and is setup all summer. The normal track is smaller and for a series race they will make it as large as possible. Probably similar to the original track at the mall in Mentor.

Default Trick Parts??

Looks like you used cardboard for the radio tray and unubtainium front wheels.

Did you get the idea from the MURP with the wooden chassis??

No way in hell is that tank period correct. But it does give me ideas...hey, I could make a chassis out of oak...pine....maple (for our Canadian friends)....

Hm. I do have an old box with a bunch of popsicle sticks in it....dowel pins for axles....and who needs screws when you have wood glue!

I think you are right, Rick. Also the electronics, steering linkage, and air filter, are much newer. All I want is the wheels! Had some, Probably sold them for $5.00!

Default Hey

Ok, ok...technically this doesn't count because it's sort of full size and non-remote control...but it IS 2wd, and sitting quietly until restoration begins in a few months....needs floor pans, paint job, some rechroming, etc. Runs pretty good, tho.

I always thought that the XK-E coupe was about the prettiest car ever. That is so cool! 3.8 or 4.2? Good luck with it.

Rick had a pretty cool 2 seater also, still got it Rick?
