Check out..... gearchart.com... You can calculate rollout for pan cars and FDR for TC cars. Then print a whole page of options based on tire, spur and pinions.

I think 2wdrive mentioned getting Pro10 back on the docket for the IFMAR worlds. All I will say to that is 10th pan cars (WGT or Pro10 LMP) are going to have to increase participation to get back to regular national status in each of the four IFMAR blocs before we see them as part of the Worlds again. I know most of the guys from the original 10th pan car discussion have moved on to other things so getting interest in the US probably will have to come from somewhere else.

If someone want to drive a 1/10 pancar Championship then there is the German Masters Pro10 that is held every year. This year it will be held in august on a 1/8th track in Hildesheim Germany.

It is an open race so any driver from any country can enter. You can call it the World Championship of pro10.

Last year there were 42 or so drivers which is not bad for a niche class without any support from big names. It is all done by enthusiasts.

Commercially a 1/10 pancar isn't interesting and for many it is to difficult to drive (they rather want to drive binary without spinning out of the corner) so it will always be a niche class. Which is fine as well.

Wish I could come. What do you guys run for a roll out with a 10.5 boosted? That's what you run as stock or sportsman right? I run on a smallish track. Got a 10.5 and want to see what I'm missing.

In Germany there is no stock class, only modified pro10.

In the Netherlands there is a small group that runs 10.5t but it is far from slow though. For rollout it depends what motor and esc you have. Do you have a picture of the track?

No pics, sorry. Running an LRP X-12 with a Black Diamond V1. Half of track is open and fast, the other half tight. Longest straight about 35-40m leading to a sweeper,

The Pro 10 on the other hand has their own set of rules: low wind motors, 2S batteries (or 6 cells), are 235mm wide, run LMP bodies, any tire selection and can outrun just about anthing on the road. The domain of these beasts is outdoor asphalt. They are built to go extremely fast.

I do not own one of these, but this class needs to have their say.
with Pro 10 you set up the class to run what motor work for that track.

That what I try to get thought to the knuckle head when they try to start WGT.

If you are running on a 1/8 gas track you can get away with running 10.5 and lower. But if you are running on a smaller track you might think of running something like 17.5 or 21.5.

that why have a let motor for a class is stupid. That why WGT should never had a set motor in the rules. Also the body need set taller also.

I don't own a BD or a X12. I can't help you there with settings but start at 35mm rollout or there abouts and go from there.

I use 45mm rollout on a 1/8 track but I use a hobbywing xerun motor with hobbywing 120A v2.1. Lots of extra added timing through the esc.

I am not fond of the x12 as it has too much mechanical timing even with the lowest timing insert.
