Yes, I run my Reventon Pro with a 3.5t Mod motor in Stock0. Runs very well, also ran it with a 17.5t. Make sure you use a 3 wire esc to receiver harness with either a hobbyking booster, or a receiver pack.

hi all
I recently got a used SP gt 2.0 LPF. coupled with a novak 13.5t. The problem i have is that there's no throttle, i tried configuring it but all i get is continuous beep.beep.beep and flashing red led and it doesn't seem to let me config. I tried with 3 different tx/rx's and the closes i got was it ran for about 2mins once and that was it.

It works on the program card in as i can play with the values (now on default setting).

Any help ???

please describe the exactly procedure you try to calibrate it with as well as what radio and transmitters you are using.

A video of what you are doing would be even better.

Once you get it into Program mode what you are hearing is the 3 beeps
Press and hold red button once for Neutral, Then you will hear 1 beep Second press and hold your full throttle while holding your full throttle hit the red button again. You should hear 2 beeps 3rd push your radio to full brake and hold hit red button again and you should hear 3 beeps. Turn everything off and see it that works.
If you cant get throttle to work or calibrate you may need to reverse the throttle on your radio
good luck

I used the procedure as on the manual.
1.transmitter on 2.hold down the set button(next to switch)3.turn esc on while holding down button until the led flashes.

When i do that, it flashes plus beeps as described. Throttle on neutral already and i should press the set button again, but nothing happens, red leds still flashing and beeping. Only way to stop it beeping is to turn it off

I used Carson reflex pro, etroniks pulse EX3 pro, Futaba 3PL

have you tried upping the Neutral range or whatever it called? I think its default is narrow?

The fan is operational and blowing down onto the ESC. I'm running a Team Epic D3 4.5 motor with 8.4 FDR. I have the Lipo cutoff set to no protection, and the over heat protection is disabled. I have temped the ESC and motor and they are both no hotter than 135-140F. The outdoor air temperature is no hotter than 60-70F I have the DMTS and DRRS set to middle of the road settings. I have since switched back to a Tekin RS Pro, and running with no problems. However, I'd like to find out what is the problem with my Revention Pro.
Anyone? Beside a possible bad capacitor, what could be the problem?

Maybe cut that wire for the motor temp sensor on the sensor wire? I thought I read something about that.

Which wire is it? Is there a pin-out diagram somewhere? Also, hypothetically speaking, how would the motor overheating cause the ESC to shut off?

I got it configured but the motor stutters and doesn't reach full revs, from the sound of it, its low revs on/0ff on/off stutter and not smooth
Is this the sensor wire knackered ??

Can you make sure your radio throttle EPA or other adjustment are in 100% default position..? Not 110% or 120% or 90%....must be 100%, and redo the whole calibration. And make sure after you are done with the 3 steps setup, you MUST turn off the ESC/Radio and turn back on to test...

We don't use degree in timing anymore on our boost program....we only use percentage so that will give you a "RANGE" of boost (in %) and give you a feel of the boost that you choose to use...

I can't tell you the 100% of boost = 100* of timing adding...not even 64* or 48*....far lower then that.
