Have you guys seen ProMatch's new soldering job/ process. Very impressive with no extra solder. It is the cleanest job I have ever seen. Their website talks about the process but they need to show a picture. I actually watched one of their techs named Steve do the job. This is why ProMatch is # 1.

I'm confused about the Integy reactor 30 that some of you use. This is a response from integtythat I just received when I asked the what the cut-off voltage is:
The Reactor 30 works fine the way it's setup from the factory. It stops the fast discharging at about 4V. The stock setup works great with 4 cell and 6 cell packs. We had no reported battery failure with the default setup. However, if you really want to adjust the cutoff point...you'll need to open the unit case (may void warranty) and adjust the VR knob while the unit is discharging and you'll need to hookup a voltmeter to your battery pack's terminal to monitor your pack's voltage. A non-matched battery pack need higher cutoff voltage like 0.9V/cell.

Is everyone adjusting the voltage to 5.4v?

Razoo: I, personally discharge to only 6 volts, because at 30amps, i found that sometimes, a cell goes below .90 volts, if the cutoff is at 5.4... but thats just me.

Good question, on my Integy unit I adjusted the voltage to 5.4 volts with the internal pot. The only problem with doing this is you basically can't discharge 4 cell packs with it since their voltage is already below 5.4 volts. I've been using it for a while adjusted this way and it works fine.

Pre-Built Pro-Match batteries
Just got my first set of pre-built Pro-Match batteries from my lhs. Have previously built all my battery packs myself with good results; but, I really liked the workmanship of the bar connections between the 6 cells
However, I cannot imagine why Pro-Match isn't installing a 90 degree bar on the 1st and 6th cells so users don't have to solder directly on those cells to make connections. This seems to defeat the concept of pre-built packs with superior professionally done connections between the cells AND at both ends.
Why not go all the way with bars on both ends like Fusion Power's pre-built packs?

XXX-S Bill, I'm pretty sure they did that so the user has the option to use whatever connection is applicable ie; connectors, hard-wiring.
