Does anyone know why they chose to discontinue this motor? Is it just the economy or what? I am completely satisfied with this motor. Just wondering if anyone heard why.

i just bought the lasy one my lhs had and was told dynamite platinum will carry same motor only different name. my son loves his in his losi eight

x2. i keep 2 in my box, good&reliable. discontinued because of sptwks line is alltogether stopping production. like was said, same as dynamite platinum for like another $50
