Just got my DJ Pro Module Rear suspension set.. looks really nice! I didn't realise the swing arms are made of metal.. not much change of those breaking (not that ive ever broken one before)

Anyone running the DJ Pro already? what sort of changes am I likely to have to make? The springs that come with are red.. I run White/Blue at the moment..

Am also wondering if to install this once the MSX kit arrives, or try the pro on wednesday just to get a feel for the changes..

Also got some ceramic bearings... see how those run..

Been using it for quite some time. It works well, makes the car very stable. As of setup, I recommend you try David Jun's setup available on the Tamiya USA website. Don't forget, since the shocks are directly mounted on the hubs you need to use much softer shock settings (I use 200 tamiya oil with 3 holes pistons, and fl red or fl blue, which are 7 and 8 lb).

I missed the mailman today so I am calling in sick tomorrow. Going first thing in the morning to pick it up. More important things to do....like my MSX kit!

Default Kai Chassis

I have noticed that the Kai chassis plates are in both 3.0 mm and 2.5 mm. Does anyone know whether these are set up for the Light Weight suspension or are they drilled for the old pieces?

I think they have been around for at least 6 months now. Any comments about them?

This is crazy but Japanese kits come with a TRF Black T-Shirt in the box, but ones from Hong Kong don't!

The shirt is made for midgets though, it will hurt using it as a rag

The MSX is a gorgeous chassis though, ease of adjustment and maintenance will be much better, i have partly finished putting it together, all of that Bling is inspirational.

I have not finished the build yet, but the car feels like it has a lot more flex than an MS.

As I've been out of town and away from the computer for the past little while, mine is only going to get shipping today. Should arrive on Monday with a Pro Module set and bits to make up a 415MS afterwards too.

But is there enough bling on it for you, Brad? Are there Tamiya spinnerz wheels to fit it?
