Default Sumo Racing Skid Plates

Sumo Racing is making some nice products, of which some skid plates for Team Associated and Team Losi for a very good price. Instead of cheap plastic, these are made out of aluminum and last a very long time. Check it out on the Sumo Racing website: www.sumo-racing.com

Thanks Edwin,
Here is a pic of the RC8 with my skids. They are very thin, strong, and lightweight. Check them out at my site. Have more parts in store. Terry.

The D8 too please, I am not to fond of the plastic ones. What is the weight give or take for front and rear skids?

I've ran the DE Racing skid plates for the RC8 in the past and they would not last very long. As soon as you hit something on the edge, they will curl around. These skids from Sumo work much better and last a lot longer. Not sure about the exact weight, but they are light for sure!

I know Terry is working on extending the offerings and is looking into the HB and Kyosho plates. Not sure about the availability.

I am in the process of buying more chassis right now. I wanted to get some good testing on them and they have been working out great. I will be posting up as soon as I can get the chassis in and the skids designed. As for weight, which will depend on each chassis, the RC8/RC8T's come in at .7 of an ounce for 2 of them total. Really light!

These skid plates work great. I bought a set off ebay from Terry (Owner) for my RC8. I didn't weigh them myself but they really are extremely light, and the quality is very nice too. They are tapered on each side so that they don't dig into the dirt. I had a couple questions for Terry and he was extremely quick to respond back. Definitely looking forward to you guys coming out with more parts for the RC8!
