I could use a bit of help with set-up. Ran my EVO w/alum chassis last weekend for the first time. I started with Mike Gee's set up, found the car very loose on power corner exit. I made some changes, got it better, but still too loose, need to wait for the car to straiten out befor I could get on the throttle, or it would try and swap ends. made getting through some right/left/right transitions very difficult. Steering is OK, a bit of under steer if anything off throttle/corner entry.
I would post my set up but this forum seems to suck at the moment to post attachments...
here is what i ended up with from Gee's set up; front unchanged exept for susp. rate 71.96(a4.0,b4.0), rear; outer shim 1.75, inner shims, 3.0, susp. rate 63.35(a4.0 b5.4), camber 2.0, toe 3.0, 3.6mm over ride drop, 1.0sway bar, diff 2000. I am also using AM06m in the rear, and AT21 no shims all around.

Hmmm, I wonder what chassis I'm running in this body at IIC . Looking forward to a strong Awesomatix showing next week.

I will also say, for club races, the track usually only comes up to med. traction. I do have another set of AM06S, should I try these in the rear in place of the M's? And should I get a set of AT21S to try?

I started with the rates swapped, higher in rear, car would over rotate at the slightest throttle input out of the corner. first change i tried was to soften the rear and stiffen the front.
Normal set-up.
Carpet. Was the first club race of the season, track was kinda dirty, would say low to med grip, no real groove. How would rear droop have an effect on on- power loose? Does this car squat or rise in the rear on acceleration?
