Getting ready to start the build on my new USA Spec L chassis. Going to start this weekend, along with finish rebuilding my original A700. Great customer service from Awesomatix USA (just as everyone knows) and excited to get my new car built. Going to read back through the thread, but any tips/tricks I should watch out for or do, that you can think of, off of the the top of your heads?

what did all means with cutting the axles
#3967
The small amount of axle threads that stick out beyond the wheel nut, after you have tightened your wheel onto the axle, can catch on walls or other objects if you brush up to or run into those objects. When that little bit sticking out grabs into the barrier it often pulls the suspension apart on that side of the car. If you cut that lille bit off, usually with a rotary tool (dremel or other) and a cut off wheel or grinding stone, you will lower the chances of causing damage.
It really does make a difference.

1.5mm worth of axle shims is the typical rubber tire rim thickness. Use axle shims and the same wheelnut you race with.
Come on Bert. U are making it obvious for everyone to know you dont own an Awesomatix.
The car is about 185mm wide. It cannot get wider except for axle shims.
