Default LOOKING FOR INPUT ON THE STOCK AND SUPER STOCK CLASS FOR RECTORS RC

Hey guys as I am sure must of heard that Rector's RC Raceway in Albion, IL was going going to be shut down. But we have many people wanting to race this winter so we are going to try it and see if we have good turn outs we will be racing every other sun. starting Oct 12.

The race dates are as follows
oct 12,26
nov 9, 28-30 state race will be 28-30
dec 14,28
jan 4,18
feb 1,15 winterblast will be 15th
march 1,15,29

We are woking on outside sponsors for the state race and winterblast if anyone is interested in donating anything.

Also looking for some input on what other tracks are doing with the stock and super stock classes as far as 13.5 and 17.5 BL motors.

See everybody at the track.

What about 13.5 Stock motor for truck and 17.5 Stock motor for buggy and 10.5 Super Stock for truck and 13.5 Super Stock for buggy? Just an idea.

Run 13.5 for both stock classes and lipos. I know they ran it like that last year and it worked great. Keeps guys from buying new stuff and they can run what they already have. Mod is mod anything goes.

I'm with Jacob on this. With the way things are right now the last thing you want to do is make somebody have to buy a new motor race in a class. I say keep the 13.5 in stock class and the 10.5 in the 19 turn class.

I say no 17.5 at all. I've only seen a couple run and not too many people have them. Since in 09 roar is going to 13.5 only in superstock, make it like this:

NO "stock"

Only super stock (13.5) truck and buggy.

Modified=open

I know there where some of you running the 19t/10.5 truck class. Just make it mod. Like roar is doing or...

Just call it 10.5 truck or Rector's truck or something like that.

I'am so glad you'll be running the state race. I'll be there for sure!!

At Leisure Hours we run 19T[superstock] which was with 10.5 and now will be 13.5 brushless . Then mod , any motor . Since SS changed to 13.5 and since most of us ran 10.5 looks like the majority will be running a 10.5 mod class and some a SS class if enough interest .

What about 13.5 Stock motor for truck and 17.5 Stock motor for buggy and 10.5 Super Stock for truck and 13.5 Super Stock for buggy?
If you get enough to run stock then run stock [17.5] for both truck and buggy .And both to 13.5 for super stock . Changing it up will just confuse people and cause them to go buy more motors , which can drive people away .
