Yep I run it the other night along with 4 packs of 1.175+ Fuk packs. Overall it was not as fast as I had expected, but by the same token it was not slow.

I have been running, 4505's with red springs on both ends. i gear short and let the motor scream rpm. Fastest way around the track for me, and the smoothest powerband.

Double red springs. I was told the brushes are high silver content Putnam brushes. I cannot confirm this part.

If they're Putnams, they'll have a green shunt (for high silver) or a blue shunt (for the medium silver) unless Todd's supplying Fukuyama with brushes that aren't color coded.

If Putnam is supplying them, they aren't color coded. All of the brushes that were in & came with my Makos have uncolored shunts. And when I tried a pair in a 19 turn motor, I got similar results as when I use Reedy 767's, so I'd guess that they're something along those lines(but I don't know for certain, I just know they work in the Makos)......

The Fukuyama brushes are similar to a 767. Not exactly the same but they do perform pretty close. I run them in my 19 turn motors and they scream. They're a very good price as well.

We do find differences between these 2 brushes, Fukuyama Racing High Silver Brushes and Reedy 767's especially when we run our cars at 33-34C (room temperature) for 8min. races in HK.

Reedy's brushes show serious overheat and performance drop after first 3-4 minutes. For Fukuyama High Silver Brushes, it lasts for 8 mintues and has no sign of performance drop.

FR Cells with 400sec+ just enough for the Race with 767 while FR High Silver still have 15s@30A discharge.

That's interesting. I've never tried to run them that long and when I'm racing competitvly enough to pull out the Fuku brushes and not just run the 767's I have, I'm rebuilding every run anyways so I've never had a chance to notice those differences. The thing I've like about the Fukyama brushes is they woke up the Reedy motors at the Reedy race a lot. Especially after some tuning from Mr. Franco. I had the fastest 19 turn motors at that race that I've ever run.

haha lol, I think that the reedy motor is the biggest turd I have ever ran. It never has beaten one of my C2's yet.

Hi Guys ..I had a mako,It went OK but not ballistic,then after about 4 runs it shit itself BIG TIME...Where the arm had been drilled for balance the arm segments had seperated and come apart,demolishing the com and the magnets....end of one motor!!
Has anyone had similar problems?

I'm not even sure what Mark did to these things. I handed them over to him after two OK qualifying runs and he went through both of them, brought them back a couple hours later, told me which one to run and it was ballistic!
