Ran my 1.17+ fukuyama cells yesterday and they were awsome. I TQ'd and won the 3rd round of the Tamiya Eurocup here in the UK and had loads of duration left in my cells at the end of the runs. Rick

Well Team Fukuyama showed very well this weekend at the Tulsa Invite. Chris Tosolini finished 2nd to Baker in a "Reedy Race" type race format of 8 races/ heads up. Chris lost out by one point and had a really good weekend. Curtis was there with some Fukuyama Mods....OH MY they had some pony! Look out with some of that strapped into you car. Curtis had a great weekend behind the wheel as well. Had a blast pitting and running with those guys in the invite.

Also Stephen Sobottka was the 19t winner I believe with some Fukuyama batts.

Impressive weekend for sure.

Default Charging Question

Hi!

I would like to get some tips on charging my fuku cells. What charge amps and delta peak are you guys using? I am using a Pro Track Charger.

Thanks in advance!

Gido - Depends on what you're running. All my charging is based on touring car racing, it could be different if you run off road.

Stock - 6 to 6.5 amps charge with .04 to .05 peak detect. Cells should be around 130-145ºF after the peak.

Mod - 5 amps with .04 to .05 peak detect. Same temperature is applied to the cells after the charge, but with the 5 amps you'll have longer runtime and just a hint less of voltage. Voltage isn't an issue with mod motors, but crutial with stock.

Also, if the cells are getting to hot, reduce your peak detect.

Hope this helps.

I just returned from the OK TC Champs.
I top qualified both Expert stock and 19t for Team Fukuyama. I won the 19t class with a perfect score of 200, i won the first 2 a-mains, letting me sit out the 3rd.
I had some rough luck in the first stock main with a 5th place finish. I won the 2nd a-main, and took 3rd in the last a-main. It gave me 2nd place overall in expert stock.
Thanks Dan! The packs were awesome like always.
