I frequently discharge my packs very low on a tray before charging, and I have noticed that the charge capacity is often well above 3500 mah. as high as 3800. Is this bad, or is it good. When I discharge them (as in cycle) at 20 amps on the Quasar, the voltage is EXTREMELY high... well above 7 volts after 5+ minutes of discharge (actual voltage, not average). To me, this seems good, but is life diminishing or anything?

I think the free shipping would be very tempting for most people. Maybe to help you guys out a little, make it free shipping on two or more packs or something like that. But still, Even paying shipping, it's cheaper to buy better packs from you guys than going to a local shop, pay $25 more for a lower quality pack.

Did anybody else see that last post? WOW.. thanks DAN!

No seriously.. Free shipping is THEE Way to go. Nothing is worse then seeing this KILLER deal from an online retailer, you think you are getting a killer deal, then you get charged like 10 bucks for shipping. When I saw your first "Free shipping" deal, it was the deciding factor when I chose fukuyama. If shipping wasn't free, I probably would of gone with smc or pro-match (just because thats what had been thrown at my ear up to that day).

It is an awesome way to grab new customers. Same with something like, "buy two packs, get the 3rd half off" or something...

I learned on 0402s, moved to 0805s, then got saddled with 0201s (!!!) right before I left. For those of you playing along at home, 0201 resistors are 0.5x0.25mm, and you put the solder on the short sides I was lucky in that I had a microscope and a tweezer style iron, but it was one of the most demanding things I've ever done. Without the scope it would have been impossible. I stick to 0603s or bigger now

I actually tried reassembling an old 1700 pack I had with some 63/36/1 paste, but there was so much volume in the binders and flux I ended up not getting enough solder on the bars. The other problem is that my hot air pencil took forever to heat the bar. Too much metal. I'd stick to wire solder for anything that's not SMT, really. Paste is a disaster. Kester or Multicore 63/37 and less than 9 months old is the only way to fly.

I'd have to say that the FREE SHIPPING is the attention getter' Your packs are very competitively priced so the only factor is S/H!!!!! I also was thinking buy one get one half off, of course you won't be able to buy a 1.15 and get a 1.17 half off, would be nice ,but not fesible......

Welcome Jay Williams to the team. Glad to have you as a team member brother. Welcome on board.

Dan, I think the majority of people are saying free shipping?

akrcracer - glad you got everything setup properly now and your car rips. Glad to hear of the switchover!

Holycow - you're dreaming...hehehe (I knew you were joking)

Yes i second free shipping... though i did like the free upgrade as i mentioned before, free shipping would be nice... frees up some cash to have you guys assemble my packs like i usually get done. (yes i'm lazy and they do an excellent job so why not)

i'd vote for the free upgrade

free shipping doesn't benefit the users outside of the states

i agree with fire... something for us overseas racers would be nice. i think upgrades are a good idea as you are saying the lower number packs are becoming rarer anyway.
