Default shock bladders

Is there anyway to shrink the shock bladder/diaphragm after it has swelled from exposure to shock oil? Is there any thing you can soak it in, or do you just have to buy new ones? It makes rebuilds a pain since the shocks never bleed properly because of the bladder.

I would probably just replace them. Peace of mind is worth the cost of the bladders, at least for me. I wouldn't want to spend a day racing only to have my lay an egg in the main, especially if I am doing well. The regret of not being able to seal a deal because of a bad shock bladder or two, hmmmm..... If a shock gets air inside of it your car will spinout in the corners. If it leaks oil it will spinout plus collect dust. It's a no win situation. Just my thoughts on this.

The only shock bladders that I have experience with are the Kyosho, OFNA and Tamiya and none have ever swollen up from the shock oil, ripped yes but never swollen.

I did try cleaning some once and it was the motor spray that swelled them up and made them soft. Never made that mistake again.
