Default Matrix 1/8th conversion pics

as per the title, here are the pics from my first conversion and first electric car..

thanks to every one here and at LSTforums for helping me decide on the ESC/motor/BEC/Pinions and batteries..

This thing flys

It took me 2.5 days to do and I was worried about a feww things like gear meshing, the brackets holding up and programming the ESC, but I calibrated my radio changed ESC to 12v cutoff and forward/brake only, and off it went!

I was in a whare house the other day cos it was raining, and I could go from 1/2 or 3/4 throttle to full and it would break traction and also tyres would turn into pizza cutters!!!!!

I am also happy with temps and CRAZY LONG run time, ESC temp is cold, Motor after 1 hour is about 140 and 1+ hour on the batts!

Great to see a Matrix converted, They are a very under appreciated buggy.

Looks like a pretty cool setup but that motor plate may be a little thin.

+1 on seeing a matrix converted and recognition of it being under rated. Last week I let my local track know that the Arena is underrated also and plan on making that point everyweek this summer LOL.
