Tekin RS ESC sensored

did some testing this saturday. put in a x12 8,5 i had here, and it works fine, like a rocket.. put the 5.5 in another friends car with a MMP esc, and it was SLOW...maybe worse than before.. not responding to endbell timing or timing from esc, tried 2 sensor wires, i dit not have any new wires but they have been working fine always before..
i suspect sensorboard??
any idea?

ok, thats to bad.. engine is brand new... is it a easy fiks? tried to open and take apart the motor but did not take out the sensorboard..

Hi all, i got problem with tekin rs pro esc, run 5 min, before it become slow, like my battery low, but i check the battery, it still got power, sometime 70% 7.9v... I have change the sensor wire and already try other motor, also got same problem, please advice...

We know nothing about what you are doing aside from what speedo you're using and how long till it craps out.
It's likely you have too much timing.

Yup, that's what we all run in my area. Will try to remember to make a screesnshot for you during the weekend. Haven't run it for several months, so I don't quite remember all the details..

We need to know all of your settings in the esc, motor timing, motor brand and wind, battery you're using,etc.

Last weekend i was running my buggy and it would kogg from a stand still. i changed the sensor wire and ran the buggy last night. it worked fine for one run then started kogging again. i changed the motor thinking the sensor boared went out. ran the buggy again and it started kogging. as long as i'm moving it will not kogg. once the buggy comes to a stop and i start to go it will kogg.
what do you think might be causing this? could the cap be bad?

Looking for setup advice for the following please. Track indoor ozite, medium grip. Approximately 40 x 80 feet. Been to the Tekin website already but didn’t find what I was looking for.
1. 10.5 boosted Touring Car, 2s
2. 10.5 boosted 12th scale, 1s
3. 13.5 boosted WGT, 1s (Tekin website had Cyrul and Dumas setup but without rollout)
Any starting point would be of great help!

The 1/12th 10.5 is what I was running outdoor on a larger track and I have not had a chance to try it on the carpet yet. I do not run 10.5 boosted touring so I can not help out there. The WGT is also my outdoor setup but I put it on the carpet for some laps and it worked quite well.
I am still tuning these settings but I hope this will get you started.

You guys on the Island have the experience in these classes so that's definitely a good starting point. The first WCICS race is next weekend in Edmonton so hope to get them tested before the race.
Now looking for 10.5 Boosted TC as my last year's boosted 13.5 is gonna get killed down the straight!
