To go one step further, the outer wheel bearings (the one closest to the wheel hexes) take a real beating. You should always have spares of that bearing. There are two thoughts regarding bearing care. Many people buy good bearings and routinely remove, clean, lubricate, and reinstall their bearings. The other idea is to buy cheaper bearings (such as those from Avid) and just replace them when they get gritty.

since you are in the states and dinball isn't, ashford hobbies has most everything in stock and then superior hobbies has a lot but they don't list as much.
you are best off going to www.shopkyosho.com, i usually get parts from one of the two stores above through this site although it seems like you are buying from kyosho direct.
kyosho is cheaper in hong kong if you can get a large enough order together to burn $30 to ship, rc-mushroom.com, rcmart.com, rcmarket.com.hk are all good sites and have 3racing and other misc hopups that can be worth ordering.

Sorry I'm getting this out so late. I wrote it down and just found the sheet.
Front-
-1 droop
4 ride height
camber left 2.0
camber right 2.0
42 shore - twister tires 56mm
2 toe
199.5 width
stock blue springs
middle position
800 wt
2 hole piston
spool
front sway bar-slat
Roll center pins all the way up
Rear-
4 droop
5 ride height
4 left camber
4 right camber
45 shore - twister tires 58mm
2.5 toe
200mm width
stock blue springs
3rd position down
800wt
2 hole piston
30wt diff oil 50wt would be best
2.5 sway bar
Roll center pins all the way down
Motor and clutch info:
NOVAROSSI Plus-12 murnan mod
2630 pipe with long header (7 ring)
sirio clutch with .7 gap
.3 end play
I used red(serpeant shoe).
gearing is 16/22 and 61/55
This was a high bite track so I was having to CA glue the front tires. This was my second time at the track and basically had the same set-up. I think this time I went with a harder shock oil and clutch set-up. The car performed well and was able to go on power in most of the turns with no understeer. Qualified 4th A-main/Finished 2nd A-main

Guys what do you recommend i need to lower the gear ratio.
Obviously i will have to change my 1st and 2nd pinions + spur gears but i wish to hear what you guys suggest.
Thanks

Hi, I got the weight down to 1710gr without a transponder, tank empty, new tires. Transponder will add around 15gr which will total somewhere at 1720 grams.
#1663
You want a lower numbered ratio for top speed right? This could be called the tallest ratio, but 17 and 22 pinions and 55 and 59 spurs is the lowest ratio you can go with kyosho parts. I think 3racing or somebody makes a 23t 2nd pinion though.

unless you run on a track that gets next to no wear, then it isn't as big of a concern. the last time my local track was burning 42 rears by about 6mm in 16 minutes.
