Just looking at that chart i wonder if those are the exact ratings for the motors.. cause the 13.5 makes more power(watts) than the lrp and novak

it lists the 13.5 as making 290watts and the lrp spec and ss novak 13.5 both make 200 watts.

if this is the case that is a huge difference and shouldnt have been legal at roar

Who is selling them? I didnt even know they made a 13.5 or 17.5. I'm assuming there sensorless and would work with a Mamba ESC.

Every manufacture rates their stuff differently. We run into that a lot in the airplane and heli stuff with the vast number of people making motors. I'm sure they are about the same.

Not sure who's selling them, but I'm fairly certain they're censored. They're already approved by ROAR.

I will try and answer everybodys question as quick as possible.

The motors are NOT fiago based. Rainer Hacker of Hacker GMBH has been designing motors for a very long time and has won many world championships in pylon racing as well as F3A flying.

These motors throughout the weekend had very good results in all the classes we ran. Not only did Josh TQ and win the first 2 mains in 10.5T but he ran them in his 12th scale which had amazing power comparded to the other drivers. If he could have got by his fellow drivers without them driving him into the wall, he would have had a very good shot at winning.

All of the motors LRP, Novak and Hacker were very close in power in the 13.5, 17.5, and 10.5 classes.

Our www.hackerbrushless.com website at the moment is under construction. Please visit www.aero-model.com for more info about other motors.
As soon as I get back into the office I will try to see about making sure the Hacker E40 motors are available on our website.

MAP price is $74.99 on these motors.
They will be shipping to Hobbystores in the next week or so. Being the USA distributor we also sell them through Aero-Model at MAP price.
You can call the office at (480) 726-7519 8am-4pm Monday-Friday MST

I will try to posy picture of the dissesembled motors as soon as possible.

hobbipro - I was using an LRP TC spec in both my TC and 1/12 cars.

I would really like to thank Kyle and Sean for getting everything sorted and out to me in time to do some running with the motors before the race. The 10.5 ran great all weekend and the 4.5 I ran in 1/12 was simply amazing!! I think everyone in the building saw that I definatly had the most power in 1/12. Disapointing that we weren't able to win but overall I am super happy as it was the first race with Hacker and the first time I was able to get a run time check was the first round of qualifying!! In TC Mod, I just simply had terrible luck as it just wasn't meant to be...lol..

Not too shabby thought... 2nd race with TOP and 1st race with Hacker and already a National Championship!!!

TC Set-up:

Hacker 10.5
110/46 with 1.94 trans = 4.64
57mm tires

LRP TC Spec speedo on Punch #4

1/12 Set-up:

Hacker 4.5
96/23
43.75mm rear tires

LRP TC Spec on Punch #4 (no fan, cut heat sink)

Kyle this is Michael Skeen from the Nats.

Thanks man for the help with the 17.5 motor in 12th scale stock. I'm going to try and do a lot more testing with it at my track and let you know how it goes. I think with the lrp speedo and the hacker 17.5 that backing the timing off a few degrees is the way to go it drops the temp and you can still run the tall gearing for the straight. I'm going to try a few different things and gearing and let you know how it goes.

Let me know when you get the 10.5's and 13.5's back in stock.

I need a 10.5 for 12th and a 13.5 for touring.

Thanks again,

Michael Skeen

I would like to thank everyone who ran Hacker Brushless Motors.

Josh Cyrul- Thanks for the hard work and effort put into this past weekends racing. For the first time running the motors at a large race it worked out very well. Your excellent driving skills along with Hacker motors gave us our first National Championship in the 10.5 Class.

Jason E. Thank you for the Hard work over the weekend and congrats on the 4th place A-Main finish

EJ evans- Thanks for the support of our motors. Congrats on the 3rd place A-main finish.

Michael Skeen- Thanks for trying out the 17.5 motor. We had many people ask what motor and gearing you were running. Thanks for the support.
