Default JP Engines

Hi,

Was wondering if anybody could help me? Could any body recommend any webstore that sells JP engines?

I am interested in the new Nova base 353 Plus 2 JP engine.

By the way, any experts know what is good replacement for the Nova 2061 pipe for the JP FX-03 engine?

Thanks in advance

if you type jp eagle on ebay a hobbyshop will come up that sells jp. He told me that the 353 was $619 and the 12-3 was like $600

I have ran the P3L Mod. And I was so impressed with it , I bagged it up and am setting it aside for the Nats.

Running the Shimming @ .4 with a #6 plug on 16 % Maxy's fuel & a 2602 Max pipe, stock header. This motor has insane bottom end & very smooth mid to top end.Runs just as fast as a Plus 12, and about 30 deg. cooler. Hopefuly I will have my hands a jp 2620 pipe to see how it makes it run.

If you noticed the P3L is a short stroke , big bore motor. Which is normaly better for mid to top end. ( dependng on your pipe selection ). But I was shocked @ how much bottom end this P3L makes. They are also a little easier on fuel ( depending on Jp's timing cuts ). I also noticed my temps on this motor are much much cooler then my Plus 12 , ( a long stroke motor ) But it also has a different head then the plus 12 .

The Eagle TL-3T is a long stroke , smaller bore motor, These motors are very strong in the bottom end & mid range .The 2 of these motors I have seen run , NEvEr, can make runtime, thirsty little things,Or just poor tuning. The long stroke motor ( Eagle )also generates more sidewall frictionon (the piston to sleeve walls) which creates more heat .This ( Could ) be why most plus 12 style( long stroke ) motors run so hot.

Hope this helps.

The eagles you've seen run must have the wrong pipe...I make 6:30 with the 2602 and my eagle

The black first line engines are very similar to my eagle on my local track, maybe on a huge track the differences would be more obvious

The JP 12P3L First line Black engine are actually the FX T03 MT without a ceramic bearing, but performance wise, it is the same, they are as fast.
