The only solution to try and narrow the car would be to machine a little off the bearing surface by the diff ring and do the same on the clamp hub. I hope that makes sense.
Sean,

Thank you for your response ....... perhaps I should mention these are not the R12 Hubs, although the Hubs used by Masami in his Yokomo 12R5.

Any help would be appreciated.

Question???? is the Yokomo wheel hole pattern similar to CRC, Jaco,Parma???

If so then I see no reason why I could not use them to provide me with a shorter wheel width. Would you not agree

Thanks Again !!!

Bolt pattern is the same, they will reduce the total width by 6mm or 3mm per side.

They're not the long hubs for the more positive offset Yokomo wheels, which he might have mistaken for.

Is this what you are looking at ?
Yokomo parts, made for the R5, not R12?

While yes it is ........... I have contacted several Hobby Shops although no reply as of the moment.

The Yokomo Part No. SP4608S is the complete Left & Right Hubs in addition to the Thrust Cone as pictured below.

Thank you to everyone who has responded!!!!

I've just built a new RC12R5.1, so I have the standard weight oil in the centre and side shock (30wt and 20wt). I have a spare centre shock and side shock and wanted to build them up with different weight oils as a quick tuning option. I will be racing mainly on tarmac with mild modifieds (10.5, 6.5). What weight oil should I put in each of them, any suggestions?

I run anywhere from 20 -40 in the side shock and 30-50 in the center shock.

Hope this gives you some ranges to try.
