quinny quinn- check to see maybe the flywheel is grooved. file it down if it is. hope this helps you coming to the challenge this weekend?

42,000 YEN is the RRP, Most shops in Japan would sell it for about 30,000.

Either TRC, FAST TIRES, HPI, and tried but thought they were too soft, the stock POWERS TIRES - 35 shore, front(26mm) / rear(30mm).
OK, I'd guess, say 37's.
It really is impossible to say for a track I haven't even seen, though.

For instance, last weekend we went to a similar track and started with 37F/40R. On changing to 35F/37R the car was a whole lot better.
You need to experiment with this stuff on the day. Grip levels vary during the day, let alone from summer to winter.
But it sounds like your onto this if you thought the kit 35's were too soft.

Hockenhimer, what do you mean by "grooved"? And who told YOU about such a thing?! No, seriously, what does "grooved" mean?

It's a new kit... and by new, I mean about 3 months old and ran about every other weekend. I checked the spring against a new one and there doesn't appear to be any tension loss (gauging the height of the two springs next to each other).

you know, there will be little lines worn into the flywheel from the shoes catching, and that will cause it stick, it's happened to me before. how you been?

A V1S can be converted to an R, RR w/ or w/o the centax clutch, or the Evo. Too expensive [been there, done that & the t-shirt doesn't fit anymore]!

Better off buying the kit, especially with rumors on the RRR coming/being out [people may choose to liquidate their stock or upgrade to the lates and greatest].

Default running one-way

tried it for the first time, but i did not feel much difference from front differential. i'm expecting aggressiveness in turns but was not successful. someone said that rear differential oil setting must be a little tight. currently my rear setting is super loose which runs best when i use front differential.

appreciate any inputs, thanks
