Keep the ideas coming!

Also been thinking of this past fews... find a way to run some of the sportsman classes in a condensed format. This way there is a class someone can race by being there maybe just for Friday or even Saturday, and not miss anything. Give the class practice before heats start.... we will see.

Rubber is real popular here in FLA when we run our carpet races, so I think a 19 rubber class will be in demand.

I says Stock, 19 Turn and Mod. Both Rubber and Foam classes. Bring your own motor....C027 for stock and KD 19 turn but also allow 13.5 and 10.5.....Run em together...thats what everyone seems to want anyway....just be the first to do it!

How about putting all these ideas for additional classes up on a poll on the Birds site?

I suggest that you have some sort of system where people "register" with the site in order to vote. You only get one vote per registered account, and don't allow any yahoo or hotmail type of email addresses (to prevent people from making multiple accounts to stack the vote).

You could list a whole bunch of classes, and allow people to vote for a maximum of 3, for example.

Certain classes would be locks...such as Stock Foam, Mod Foam, 1/12 stock, etc. This poll would be for any new classes, or ones that were very lightly supported in previous years.

Poll is a great idea!

Has anyone else been running 10.5 with 19 turns? And 13.5 with stock?
I ran brushed 19 against 10.5s at our last carpet race, and I think were 4 10.5s and 4 19s. Very very close speeds. Hard to tell who was running what.. that was cool!

what about Porsce Cup? We are starting that down here in south Florida, and it is simple, cheap to set up, and cheap to run.....of course, I am biased...

I agree with Frank... Porsche Cup is a simple format. Plus the F103GT chassis is a blast on foams. It would make for the perfect 2nd class or exhibition. Beef up the motor for carpet and these cars would be one hell of a class.

Here in Ohio we have been running 19 turns and 10.5's against one another and the stockers against the 13.5's. As you found they are very close in speed and it is hard to tell who is running what.

I'm with EA. Run brushless and brushed together. Screw it. Most tracks are doing it already. Be the first to do it Nationally.......

I would Deff make the rubber classes either brushed or Brushless as intro to that idea and leave brushed Stock and 19T alone as that is soo competive now...
