So how does that work for ROAR rules? The rules states no mods to the case. But does that mean user only or does that include the car.

i dont think the pulleys rubbing will make the battery illegal, if so they need to revise the rules to include wear and tear

Just an FWI, as most of you probably already know...

The Core 5000, and the Core 3250 have both been Roar approved

On a side note were just received the new Core battery chargers on Friday and they are nice. I'll post more details on Monday once I get in the shop

Check out the #'s I got the other day with my Core Lipo packs... when my GFX showed up I had to try it out. I did a Core 3250, two 5000s, and a couple other brand packs. I plan to do more cycles but this is all I have so far.

These were done with the packs above room temp... around 90* like typical summer outdoor conditions, and fresh off the charger at 5 amps.

@35 Amps; seconds; average volts; mah; IR

pack 1 5000: 516-7.37-5016-6.4
pack 2 5000: 522-7.25-5075-9.3
pack 3 3250: 354-7.25-3441-10.0

Looks awesome to me, based other #'s I have seen. I have a few other packs I can test... and maybe a couple more I can borrow...

I'm not looking to flame any other brands or start any debates... but I wanted to give some props to the Core packs since this is a Core thread.

Now Shawn... when can I get a charger?

I was wondering how many runs and how old are the 2 5000 packs?

I was thinking the same. It looks like pack 2 may be newer and has not broken in yet. That or it has been run down too low and has been hurt just enough to raise the IR but function well in every other way.

The 3250 is new... the 5000 packs have been used at a couple two day races, off road mod buggy and truck.

EDIT: Actually, one 5000 pack was only used at one weekend race. I don't know which one...

No special care... just run it, come back to the pits and recharge. Probably 10-15 runs on them at each race.
