Default tt01 drive shaft help

I was just replacing the 3-piece center driveshaft with Tamiya blue hopup versions. To my surprise the end parts are just too short. As a result one can move the shaft all the way forward or rearward and the shaft can fall out. I've never know a tamiya part to not fit. Anyone else run into this?

I used to have a TT01 and that was one of the first hop-ups I put on it but it fit just fine. You should first see if it is the right one for the TT01 (you never know) or maybe check to make sure the coupling or sleeve that the shaft goes into is positioned right in the chassis.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck!
