Hi, guys I currently run my pipe on a LRP Spec3 motor but for some reason every time I run my car within 30mins my manifold seal is ripped apart and the leaking starts. I am using the standard Orange seal that comes with the pipe and the extra tight skyline spring. Now I am eating up spares, could I be doing something wrong, is the spring too tight, or is the seal cheap or is it just normal??
What have you guys done to fix this issue??

Thanks Kamikaze, I did notice some pressure had to be made in putting the pipe on the the wire mount, I may have to bend the wire out a little to allow for the pipe to lineup. Will try it today ...

I found just the opposite on my Mega DSII
It ran better with teh Skyline than with the 2607.

Wow thats crazy. when I switched pipes from the Skyline to the Mega the only
other change I made was to make the pressure line from the pipe to the tank about 4 inches longer. This helped my tune from a full tank to mid tank. but my engine came alive after these changes. The other problem I had is the header on the Skyline pipe is a little too big for the exhaust port on the LRP engine; so I was forced to use the special gasket from LRP. but if you look at the lengths of both pipes including the header the mega pipe is totally different. The other concern I have it seems that the Mega pipe hangs a little more out in no-mans land when mounted on the car.

yes like what Rainer said, gearing and clutch adjustment play a big role..you might wanna try using harder clutch shoe and spring it'll give you more bottom....VR12 has very smooth power band and great run time, so far i've ran it with my JL, OS and Nova based engines with no problem.

Thanks guys, I will look at my gearing and definitely my clutch settings
