Default New guy posting my "OUTLAW" NTC3

that I converted to use a .21 big block RB Concepts Xenon "R" motor. I also made my own steel rear CVD's because I shortened the rear control arms to also fit 1/8th scale Mugen wheel/tires. I also custom made my own driveshaft since after adding the big block, the stock driveshaft would wobble BIG time. I also fabbed a big block XTM header and big Fusion pipe to fit. The car is very FAST and used for drag racing mostly. I am now in the process of installing hardened steel ring/pinion gears from a Ofna LD-3 once i make a new 2-speed shaft for it. I have broken 3 sets of the stock plastic Team Associates ring/pinion gears so time to upgrade.

My biggest quest now is to find a Firion chassis to help take some initial shock because I have a new RBmods.net Kangaroo engine in route to replace the Xenon and it has lots more bottom end and top end. I use a 235mm Stratus body to fit over the 1/8th scale wheel/tire combo.

What type of material are you looking for, for the chassis? Firion? Is that a type of material or a manufactured chassis? would a Carbon fiber chassis work? just curios, because I couldn't find anything on the net about "firion" (never heard of if)

What I do is use a mill machine here at work. It is kinda a pain but works. I just didn't have the time to wait for custom made ones from MIP which they told me that they could make with my measurements.
