The run down
okay guys,
Im getting the Tamiya F103GT and new to electric r/c cars , and dont know what would be best for an ESC and whats the diff. between 9T motor and a 23 Triple Motor? what does it all mean? what batteries do you use for long run times?
thinking about getting the Associated IPC Pro Sport ESC, DuraTrax IntelliPeak ICE DC Competition Charger, Integy SHV4300 6-Cell 750s+ batteries, motor imconfuesed about ... is this good soo far ?

a lower turn motor (9T) is much faster than higher turn (23T) motor. since the f103GT is a direct drive car (motor pinion directly connected to spur gear/differential/drive axle), a 9T may be too much power. try using the 23T motor first.
i suggest getting an esc with no motor limit so you can use whatever motor you wish in the future. also, make sure the 4300 batteries will fit the f103GT. the ice is a very good charger.

how fast do you think they go with 23 T motors, and whats the avg. run time for an electric car ? seeing that nitro is about 10-15 min pending how agressive you are...
