mods? you just bought a revo 3.3, your brand new to the hobby, dont have too much cash to blow on it, and your askign for mods. man that thing will treat you right exactly how it is. out of all my wrecks and bashings and stuff, all ive broken is an a-arm and a stripped spur cause a rock got into it. if you really want mods, a-arms are really your only mod for a beginner. learn to drive the truck real good before you do performance.

well, I would not get on him so much as some vehicles do have issues that they need correcting right away to cut down on the head aches. Such as extra chassis bracing or something along that lines.

I haven't heard of anything specific to the revo. So probably if you have extra money and want less downtime go ahead and stock up on things that are commonly broken like A-arms. I usually by 1 set of each suspension plastic part.

i wasnt trying to get on him hard. its just that the revos are extreemly tough. like i said in my thing, 2 years and only 1 a-arm gone. i mean they are real durable

If its wet make sure all electronics are sealed away from water! If its cold preheat the head on the engine with a blowdryer and rap it with an insulation to keep the heat in so it wont get cold! not to much cause it will over heat if you use to much I ve heard of people using aluminum foil for this.

dont try to break it in during wet season. when you say cold, how cold do you mean? i broke mine in when it was about 45-50 out and did nothing. i started it in my garage and let it idle for a second so teh head would get warm the nwent right out.

the battery melted after first use? what size was it? and how long did you charge it on what charger? well if its mid 30,s you could probly wrap the head, but i cant garuntee anythign on that. after break in all you have to do is run it. that motor will run at any temp really. i mean ive driven mine in snow before.
