Just one idea: All of you who want a set of the outdrives send me a PM.
I visit my family for the next 2 days and I will be back on the 28th.
Ask all guys you know wether they need outdrives because it´s cheaper then.

Front Ball Diff
i ran my Cuda R2 today with a 12 turn and a not bad setup but i used a Ball diff in the front WWWWOOOOOOWWWW so much better in braking and so much more punch the car was queit using 7 month old gears sounded like a belt car i could only hear the motor screaming i highy recommend trying a ball diff in the front much better than a one way unit

Speedy-932 ... private message your way
For stock racing ... even here in Malta, we prefer to use normal diff in front too. We found that handling characteristics improve indeed. However for modified, we still prefer to use locked diffs.

outdrives
but i have noticed that the out drives are starting to wear every quickly and i little bit of bend is that normal

The stock outdrives are made of Delrin. They are very light and ideal to reduce rotating weight. However if you set the front diff bit too tight you might have some problems on hard braking or on impact. In stock racing, it should be ok though
If you are breaking the front outdrives very often, most probably you are mixing the front and rear dogbones because they have different length. Check them out
In modified we still prefer to use a locked diff. I guess the aluminium outdrives are worth a try too

Hi this might have been answered before but is the r3s the same as the normal r3 (black carbon blue alum) or is there differences except for in the name, also does the r3 come with ti turnbuckles.
Thanks,
Chazz
Thanks,

The only thing I have noticed being different is the black carbon chassis. The standard R3 mostly comes with a sparkle chassis.
Also TI buckles are an option.

Well Ive got the R3s and its build is excellent and the transmission is really free. Ive had most other makes of tc and its gotta be the most free drivetrain I've seen. All I have bought for it is the TI turn buckles and a diff for the front. I can highly recommend it.

What car did you have before T1R, Tc3 and how much better is, set up wise, and drivability etc

Ive had an MR4, T1R, RClab and a TC3
It seems easy to setup and even a small change you can feel the difference in handling. The only thing you have to do is use lower weight shock oils this makes it react quicker.
What surface do you run on?
