Default Engine prob....

hi guys....now i got a headache...

i have already run-in my engine already. but when i go full throttle and brake....the engine stall? the throttle trim on my controller when i set to low side...the engine stall too. Even without full throttle, just hit on the brake...it will stall too.

what could be happening??

PS: if i have put a little more then few(actually quite alot...accidently) drops of nitro to the carb before starting the engine....will that cause this prob?? if yes then how to retified

maybe it would help to give some details of the motor and rc car which will be a good starting point...

Could be clutch set up or engine tuning

Sounds like your motor is to rich may need to lean it out.

your throttle linkage is not set corretly. it's shutting the carb barrel all the way when you apply the brake.... tell tale sign that the linkage is hosed.

With the engine off, remove the air filter and look inside the carb. Apply the throttle, then the brake. Make sure the brake isn't completely closing off the carb. If it is, adjust your brake trim.

Just my 2 cents

Ya I would check the idle first... if you have no idle screw lean the LSN a tad (1/8 turn).
