RCT n00b.
Hey guys, New to Rc-tech and havent made any posts here.
Im running a Brushless Cen matrix Truggy, and 2009 will be my first racing season and I need some help setting up my truck. Its just a bit out of the ordinary
Setup:
Cen Matrix Tr FRE
-Castle Creations Mamba Monster v3
-CC 2200kv motor
-4s 5200mah RC-monster Lipo's
-Ds 1015
-52t Hellfire spur, 13t pinion
-Airtronics M8 w/ spektrum
-Custom 3/16'' 6061 aluminum motor mount *not shown*
Dont mind the unruly wiring and dirt...
I plan on running AKA I-Beams on 1/2'' offset rims, I Like how the truck turns with the 0 offsets but is a bit unstable. Any thoughts?
As you can Imagine the truck is damn near perfectly balanced left to right and front to back, my problem now is that the suspension is too plush, the setup right now is stock green springs, and 50 or 60 weight oil(dont remember).
What would you guys reccomend as far as springs and oil?
Diffs are:
F- 6k
c- 10k
r-grease
Thanks in advanced, Feel free to shoot me an email

You have a nice brushless set-up there.
When I was running the stock Cen shocks, I was using 60wt Losi oil in the front and 50wt Losi in the rear. I am currently using the Hong Nor / Jammin 16mm Big Bore Shocks with 50wt front and 45wt rear with grey springs.
For the diffs I am running 7,000 Kyosho oil front / 20,000 Kyosho oil center / 3,000 Kyosho oil rear. Hope this helps. Good luck
