Default quick question

in regards to the .5 deg rear hub carriers, is that total equaling .250 deg each side or is it .5 deg. each side for a total of 1 deg?

0.5 degree each side - all the toe measurements are made per side, not in total.

Any idea what the 2 day event in early '04 will be? I'll definately plan on making that.
last year they did a two day race that was in essence two seperate races then they combined the points to get a winner. I'm not sure if they're doing the same thing this year or not, no word yet

Matt, Have you or MO got to try the graphite tranny case yet? I just finished installing mine and its kinda hard to tell if it made the car stiffer feeling or not.. In the least it should shed a few grams/ounces any way..Had to have the Non trailing blocks too hehe..

I picked them up as soon as Steve got them in, I really think it will help the flex issue. I'm also going to make a center stiffener post, that will go from the chassis to the upper deck, nobody has tried it yet (that I know of) and I think it will make a huge difference.

Hi Jeff,

Actually the CAD drawings are 90% finished. We made some improvements (large back plate but drilled out for light weight. Also we made it a hollow spool (for light weight as well)). Right now I'm trying to find the machine shop that can offer us the best price, and we are still debating if we should make them out of anodized aluminum or hardened steel.

I vote for steel, if it's made right it won't weigh any more than a oneway setup. The aluminum one will wear but the steel one should last forever

Since you're goin down the weight savings road, stick with aluminum with steel drive cups (somethin like an XRay cup that uses a set screw to stay secured) Who cares about anodizing, it's just gonna get hidden inside a gearbox...
