hold up so u gain steering by running heavier oil in your front diff? I thought that would/should make it push! but I race with a guy who runs the 747, car has awsome steering, turns on a dime n i swear hes running a million weight or more up front!!!! on Dj apalaros setup for the cap co2 he says i run 200k up front but i like a car that pushes a little, if u want more turn in drop down on the oil!!! so even some pros beleive that heavier oil will induce a push........im confused
it will give the car a slight push exiting the corner on throttle but really good turn in off throttle
it has a lot to do with droop setting as well and how aggressive you drive

Hey guys, so the 2013 has been out for a while. Serpent, and capricorn also have short , fat body shocks and lower towers.
What have you seen as far as a noticable advantage with this setup compared to the taller shock setup? Or, is it just easier to tune for non pros?

I found the 2013 to be a lot more stable in the tight corners and also a little more in the fast stuff. iam running everything the same as my 2012 kit bar the new shocks and towers. also using the topdeck flex system.
i feel more confident in being able to push the 13 a lot harder befor it bits me back

rec'vr batt
dumb question
i'm hopefully going to start racing my nt1 this summer. is it ok to run a lipo batt for a rec battery, 7.4 rec'vr battery, or is that too high of output for the servos? would i need a voltage regulator if i did?
i'm not running Radiopost servos, yet. waiting for them to get back in stock. i think i have an assco 1015 and a hitec in it now???
i have a 6.0 nihm battery in it now, just thinking about upgrading...
thanks for any input

i have been running the 6.6v LIFE battery with new KO Propo RSX servos. I also would like to know why there are 7.4V LIPO receiver packs. The Battery linked below is slightly shorter than what I have so it should fit perfectly in the NT1. Someone please explain the difference between 6.6v and 7.4v. thanks

Torque @6V: 138oz-in, 10.0Kg-cm
Torque @7.4V: 165.6oz-in, 12.0Kg-cm
I also found I had more choice for battery size in the Lipo range so getting a battery that was a good fit for the nitro car was a bit easier.

Simon
