CRC's New Generation-X.... Your Thoughts?

I would run it as is, when my mod car and 19T car are setup the same, the mod car usually steers more, and has a little less rear traction. I usually run the same setup, except I go one spring softer in the rear, to increase the amount of rear traction in Mod over 19T. I also laid my servo down, in Mod, but I will likely do the same in 19T as well next time, I run 19T again.
I've been running the stock class lately, and have a pretty good setup. I haven't changed it too much from the kit setup except for: red center spring, 0 deg toe, 3.5mm ride, 1.5 camber. Jaco Prisms Lilac front, yellow rear.
I want to run the 19t-13.5 class, and I want to understand what the car needs to be doing to handle the increase in power. I know I could go on CRC's website and copy some setups, but what i'm looking for is someone to help me understand what the different setup will do.
I know that in stock, the car needs to be more "free", or not as bound up (robbing power). So, in 19t we need to tighten up the car, or add more grip?
If this is so, what adjustments do we go to first?
Most importantyl, how should the car feel?

Another update, on the Diff, I went to a kimbro gear (more balls than the dumor), installed the slapmaster thrust BB and I also used the diff covers. The diff held up much better than it did in Mod. Not sure which of the 3 things I did helped the most, I will try them incrementally and let everyone know. I like the thrust BB alot, it should hold up much better than the BB/cone setup.

Just my 2 cents. But I have found out that going to a thicker tube lube tends to slow down the weight transfer from side to side a whole lot. I don't run mod or anything, just stay with the 13.5. And with that in mind, I usually just stick with the CRC Red cap (lightweight). I have tried the heavier stuff, but with my driving style, the car tends to go on 2 or 3 wheels when I dip in the sharp corners, (robbing speed) and even traction rolling sometimes. So I kinda just stick with the light stuff. When the traction starts coming up, I might give the heavier stuff a try on the 3rd heat, compare lap times and go from there. The best way is just to buy all 3 CRC tube lubes, white cap, red cap, and blue cap (cheap stuff), and just compare lap times, you should know what to use from there......Happy Racing

Damper tubs: the effects of dampening are not always the same and will change with different levels of grip
in the track.On high bite carpet tracks,where traction rolling is sometimes an issue,using a thicker damper tube fluid will slow the side weight transfer and prevent traction rolling,giving a smoother,more consistent steering feel.On low bite carpet(or asphalt)too thick of a damper fluid will actually cause the car to be loose.or over steer,because the weight can not transfer quickly enough.Going to a thinner fluid here will tighten the car up by allowing more weight transfer.
hint-
a quick way to determine which way to adjust the dampening is to go out and run a few laps (preferably on the clock) bring the car in and pull 1 of the tubs off and go back out and run again.you can then make a decision (based on lap times and feel)on which way to go with your dampening,saving you a couple of re-lubes.

so far what has worked best for me is 12 carbide diff balls in a Kimb. spur with the red label Associated diff lube...but I am about to test some new Axiom ceramics at a big local race Jan 18-20....stay tuned, I will let you know how it goes...

thank you I traded my tc5 for a new CRC Gen X built never ran And I broke the shock trying to remove the batterys there was no shock oil in the kit.
