If my email stated the Sirio in the same price range as the Pixy, it definately was a mistake. By the way, I have been nothing but for the racer.

I am not one to speak personally about....
Smeltz - I apologize and you are correct, the 330 was for the pixie mod. The price for the sirio you quoted me was close to that (I won't continue with the price posting) as well and the reason given was that the design of those motors was more difficult to mod than other engines. I didn't like that explanation or the pricing so I didn't buy, but your post is worded so that the long explanation comes after my name as if you are addressing me.

I am not one that has criticized your copying richey nor questioned what you do with money. I've been defending anyone's right to buy your motors or anyone else's - even though I personally haven't. But you should've made another bullet to direct your defense towards the ones that were really attacking you.

But that's neither here nor there - this is motorman's thread and I'm sure he didn't want this sort of nonsense to spill on it. I've heard your prices are reasonable now, and I wouldn't hesitate to try a smeltz mod. If I can get wind of richey mod on an ebay auction -I wouldn't hesitate to try it either.

Hey Dennis ,
Saturdays you talking practice at larrys or what? If yuo can make down to livonia I'll run Mod with ya on saturdays , its really laid back and no "funny stuff " goin on . Decent size track ,80x36 and new ozite , we can set up any layout we want too. Its not a fancy place cuz its kinda temperary, but it works for me and its 5 minutes from home . They are going to start a points series in Jan . I got a 12 x2 I could soften up for mod 1/12th , let me know what you want to do and we can hook up and run .
Bob

I think it would take a little more than being " handy with a dremel " to reproduce what Dennis has developed in 2 cycle glow engines...........

Most of what you need to know is out there, you just need to go looking for it. There are some crucial secrets I will never tell, I just wont.

However RC the field has flattened pretty well as of late with regards to power and what can be purchased over the counter.
If you make it they will buy it

If your name was on it Dennis, more than likely it would sell.
