Im sure they were looking for a balance between stability and corner speed.

Hello everyone Got my 8T today! One Bad Ass Truggy!! Just have a question does anyone run Ceramic Bearings in there 8th scale truggy or buggy or are they just not worth the $$. Are the kit ones just fine tell I start racing for the Winston Million. HaHa Thanks for you time JP

Losi's stock bearings are really good. If you have the money to spring for ceramic bearings, or want to replace your old bearings after some good use, there are good companies out there that make replacements for a lot of the cars out there, like TKO.

a buddy of mine got his 8ight-t yesterday and i was out at the track watching him run it today when comeing out of a chicane one of the front driveshafts snaped right where the ball end if going into the steering knucle. It was very odd and the 1st time i saw this on any type of rc vheical.
I told him to call losi to get a replacement as im shure it was a defective part.
on the other hand, this truggy is bad ASS!!! i cant wait for my income taxes check to come in so i can get one to go along with my 8ight.

Just wanna say, we can't wait for the next big race. Both the losi kits, buggy & truggy been really successful almost every race their attended. The recent Dirt Nitro Challenge race and even the european big race Neo invitational Race. Last year its The Drake Power and already early this year, Mike Truhe with his secret power dominates the track they're on. Marvelous and simply awesome result! great work and well done to Team Losi.
*** just an additional note to Aaron W. Visitors were asking for why there's no Losi dealer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia?

8ight-t
I raced my 8ight-t last night and all I can say is WOW! This thing drives just like the buggy. If you like the buggy you will love the truck. I have been running the 8ight and the mbx5t and it would always take me a 1/4 of the race to adjust to the 8ight after running a race with the truck, but no more.Same track as last week and the first time out I was one second faster per lap than with the mugen.

Lining up the chassis posts may be a little tough, but the forward mounted engine shouldn't stop the starter box from starting the truck once things are lined up?

I made some new holes/ streched the slots.. on my crome ofna box and it's working pretty good.
Maybe I can post a pic....

Im happy to say that I will be purchasing an 8ight T down at Ultimate Hobbies during RCX. I can't wait! Im going to run it with an Axial .28, JR 9000T Servo for steering, JR 650 for throttle, Orion Marathon RX pack, and a JP2 pipe. Ill also be using my M11 and spektrum with an OFNA Chrome top starter box. I CANT WAIT!!!
