David As Barry said not all of them are running the belt car. So only time and pictures will tell who is wheeling the new car

Awsome. Man...this is great, cause even if that Associated car offers just similar performance to a T2 or RDX, they are gonna sweep the market.

Why???

1. Lower cost than the "imports"
2. Easily available and inexpensive parts.

I dropped TC because I didn't have the money to "upgrade" my RDX with all the helpfull carpet "bling." So I traded it for a helicopter. If the Asso car runs less than $350 and the parts are sane, I just may be tempted into running TC again.

The Factory Team TC4 was close to 350$, I dont think the new TC5 or 4.5 or the TC4B or what ever they plan on calling it, is going to go for less than 350$. Look at all the top of the line belt cars what do they have in common ------ they are all over 350$.

Keep wishing

Just checked Stormer Hobbies they had the TC4 for 339.00$ so close to 350. Count on the new one going for 375.00

Still better than $439 for an RDX + the dough spent on low roll blocks, etc.

If we assume $339 for the new TC4BD and you add $100 for the optional aluminum rear hubs and c-hubs (standard on the RDX) it comes up to $439. HMMMM! Now let's look at the design of the hinge pin carriers on the new AE. Very similar to XRay and Corally, so we can also assume that there will be optional low blocks with it also. Probably not aluminum like the RDX though, so chalk one up to AE for cheaper parts. I just hope that they've learned something about parts fitment. OR at least include a bag of shims and a hobby knife for the arms. (You may need those) The car does seem to be doing well though. Top ten at the worlds and still in development stages. Not too shabby.
