I said the same thing! they certainly look like derlin, but the website said steel? Maybe they were confused LOL.

Whats your guess on the price?

Sorry for the confusion. Yeah,The black one is POM(derlin) and the other one is the aluminum for option. those work excellent and smooth operation last very long.

thanks,

How common is it to bend or twist a bulkhead in a crash?

i have a tweaked chassis, and was wondering if its worth me totally disasembleing my whole car to check the bulk heads, or just order a new main lower deck.

the chassis wont sit totally flat on my setup board, & i have already tryed all the screws on top and bottom deck to try and fix it.

any advise welcome.....

There is one thing I noticed that your signature says "Futaba". Do you have a Futaba servo on your car? if so, you should check the chassis tweak with servo mounts screw off. it some time makes the chassis tweaked with the Futaba servo like 9550. If those servo mounts are making the chassis tweaked, you might need to grind the servo case a little bit. Please also make sure the servo is slightly floating. (there should be a little gap between the servo and the main chassis)

Thanks,

you know those setup boards are not a perfect surface like glass? try putting the car on glass. I actually put mine on a peice of glass, had my mom hold the shock towers down, and I installed the top deck.

After that I put the car on my tweak station and it was flawless! I've never had a TC be flawless! im so glad it worked!

The Futaba servos have angled ear tubs. (not straight) when the screws for the servo mounts tighten up, the chassis will be tweaked a little bit.

so if you just use Hara's servo install method you avoid the tweak right? as long as you can see light between the servo case and the chassis its ok?

Hey, do you have a working link to the hara build guide? Mine doesn't seem to work any more.

click on the hara setting button on the left side and then text by the #'s 1-6 at the top of the page. you'll need to translate it though.
