ive just bought a hyper 8.5 and i chose the vspec. pretty good price, very good performance. i am going to buy the tko bearings after 4 or 5 litres for peace of mind (the stock ones can leak or even fail in some cases after this period- rare but has been reported enough times to take precautions) but the bearings cost only around the $50 mark, and thats aus dollars too, so prob 45c in usa, lol.
ive owned 2 vspecs and neither had the bearing problem, but then i only had them for about 8litres each, b4 i sold the buggies.

between those two i would go with the P7EVO, but there is a better engine out there for less money GoTech 5 Port.....

why would a go be better ?

the Picco is one of if not the most powerful 21 made... look at its dyno next to a go .21, a P7 EVo 2 eats up the Go when it comes to power....

but a Go is a nice motor regardless, the Picco is just exceptionaly powerful for a .21....

ive noticed your a bit P7EVO2 bias cause you own one....ive owned a P7EVO2 and thought it was ok....i push the GoTech and doent even own one, but have driven and broke in many, and ill tell you this is the engine of the future....

I love the P7 EVO most definitely.....but not just because i own one.... It is flat out the fastest .21 i have ever seen, and its dyno charts back that up.... Fyi i also own a Go-Tech engine....

anyways heres the dyno of the different mills..

I have videos of the P7 EVO running toe to toe with a Ninja 28, and blasting away from a Werks B7 Buggy at WRP track.....

also i have to add, that comparing quality race .21 is like splitting hairs...most of these engines are extremely good, and you can't go wrong with any of them.... I really like my Go-Tech engine, but I also really like the Picco EVO 2...

well that fixes everything....everyone needs to by a P7EVO2, and if you do you will be the fastest guy on the track, cause you have the most powerful .21 engine made..... this engine has been out for a long time, if it were so great everyone would be running it....however the GoTech is being flocked to...now why is that????

i saw the vid, and there was no blasting away being done...oh and fyi the werks engine was running 20% nitro....now just think how fast it would of been running 30%...not to mention that the picco is modded and the werks is stock...its like comparing apples and oranges...

a personal invite to the race on the 29th, so we can see how that power house does on a short track...ill even let you race for free...

i wont attend the race unfortunately...but since Nick runs my engines i am sure he will bring something for the short track..Iusualy see to it Nick has plenty of power.

i will have to get a Go-tech .21 5 port on the dyno next to ther P7 and we can go from there.... we'll see which motor carries the most power and RPM......I have both and looking to pick up another GO, Russ froim Racefactor is such a good guy to deal with..its very possible both me and Nick will run GO engines next season.

No need to argue with me mate, i am not your enemy, maybe i just know a little more about enignes then you do, hell i was going to offer to modify that B7 28 for free for ya since Nick told me your such a good guy, as well since that motor really could use a little TLC .. i am not shitting you about the P7, hell do you want us to install your B7 Pro 28 in Nick's 8T and run it next to the P7EVO2 powered 5 T on video ? remember i am the guy who teaches Nick how to tune and repair engines, and Nicks been running my modified egines for well over a year now !....

anyways heres two video's of the P7

one video is vs a Werk's B7 powered Buggy and the other is a Ninja 28 powered 5T

IMHO the P7 powered truggy runs down the werk's buggy pretty easily, but others seem to think differently.

His point though was that the fastest engine won't make you the fastest driver, and that the circumstances in testing made the tests inconclusive.
