it can be order seperately..but don't know if it's available in the states. I've seen them in HK and Japan.

Where did you get the gears...
if you called HPI customer service you could have gotten the gears and backplate for Free!

Default new gears

I got the version 1.1 gears today. Do you install the new gears in the rear diff also? of do you just use them or the front?

mainly just for the front one-way diff...but it wouldn't hurt putting them in the rear as well.

Howdy all. Got the car ready to run tomorrow. Have a shock piston question. On the setup sheets there is a statement like "2 hole - Hole size 1.1 or 1.2" My pistons are number 1-4, those being 2 hole and #5 a 3 hole. So when the setup sheets say 2 hole 1.2mm is that the 2 hold piston #2?
I'll tell now, the 3 hole and 60 wt. is stiff!

Thanks and take care
john
