Good afternoon Gents,
for the rb6 mid mount, if you look from the side view at the rear shocks, do they lean at an angle coming down to the eyelet when you mount it on the rear arms?, meaning it is not perpendicular down straight. i have now used 3mm spacer just to just it almost straight down, will there be any adverse effect on the handling or should i just leave it ?
any comments?

Leaning should be the correct word here, as mine leans quite abit, I have tried taking out the spacers from the shock towers and adding 3mm spacer at the eyelet and now it looks quite straight.. Guess it would not affect the buggy too much if I do that.

Noticed on petitrc.com setups that drivers are putting 1.5mm axle height spacer under the front axle vs. 1mm under and 0.5mm over (stock setup). Ideas what this does to handling?

cvd rebuild/repair
Using stock shafts with, avid axles. cvd pin/coupler or barrel whatever it's called. Kyosho does not sell the parts separately, why they don't is beyond me Is there any other brands that fit? m.i.p, losi, ae, etc or do I have to swap over to the whole mip system? and use there shafts etc. What option are out there? I know this can't be the first time this has come up.

Just a heads up, may need to sell my brand new RB6. I just built it to factory spec but its never been wired up or run. All extra parts included and body is uncut.
PM me if interested.

New Guy.......
Hello, I've been racing a B4.1 for a while now, but recently got a screaming good deal on a new RB6. I'm very anxious to see first hand the quality I've heard so much about! Any quick links to a setup for a large low traction track would be great. I have no experience with Kyosho so any other sites other than RC tech that provide info would be very much appreciated!! Thanks in advance-.......that new guy

I've had some great luck with it. Running mid motor on high traction indoor clay track. The on power steering is off the charts. The first day running it a qualified 2nd in the A-main and I'm usually a B-main rock star.

is that running with the stock gears in the diff, or the pricy upgrade steel ones?
