That will give you a great starting point. BTW, where are you going to be running carpet at? I didnt think Tulsa had any carpet tracks any more or are you guys going to Springfield? If you decide to try foams hollar at me. You guys should try to come up in a few weeks to Hutch and race on the carpet with us.
you know me, i just enjoy people trying to figure out which car i am running!!!

i got this car a while back, just now decided to check it out. just built a diff for the front last night... figure that might be better on the rug. i think that they run rubber at springfield, tho.. im sure we will make a trip up to sunny KS before long! try to get an early start for the Novak race...

If you are only changing the spacers in the a-arm, you are moving the wheels forward or backwards relative to the main weight in the car (the gearbox and suspension) and this changes the balance of where the weight is. If you move the entire assembly, which I believe you are doing with the PRP chassis, this is a true wheelbase adjustment and longer will be more stable, shorter more steering, as the balance of weight over the wheels remains constant.
i'm moving the shims that are at the front and rear of the a arm.

We have been having a good sized foam tire stock sedan class at hutch. I think there are some that are breaking off into the mod and 19t classes. Would be cool to have you guys up!

Trust in what ROBK says guys. He knows what he is talking about.

Losirob/Tamiyadriver we race on Saturdays. Doors open at noon, racing at 6pm. Here is a link to that tracks website. The road rail is on order but not here yet. Wish I could swing the Novak. Hope you guys can make it up soon!!

hope you got the Square aluminum input shafts/spur gear mount version instead of the TI. much quicker acceleration.

Default delrin diff questions.

It appears that delrin diff are same weight as stock diffs...at 18 a pair what is the advantage/purpose?

Thanks

According to Erik they are more durable and have less friction than the stock composite ones. If they are made anything like the stock spur gears they are going to last for quite some time!
