hello all
thanks cristian i got my package and instal all last night
the fan mount is really nice
i run on outdoor asphalt track the car feel really better
but still oversteer a lot even if radio is a the minimum steer level
i try to lenght the front wheel base my setting are with the lower arm block n i use sorex 20R
i use the front diff really tight n spec r gearb box diff with 15 000 silicone on rear
spring are reflex silver front / teal rear
one idea or wish plse sent picture of you setting in order to help not english speaking guy to understood better your really interestings post

15k in the rear diff is too thick IMO!
I'm not sure what the Sorex 20R might be equivalent to, but I ran the above on a Solaris Medium.

500 CST Oil #2 or RSD Piston
15.5 Spring
0B Block FF/FR
4 deg Caster
+2mm Shim at each suspension Block
7B Steering Crank
RSD Short Link with 3mm spacer or AE Upper Hole Inside on shock tower
Standard Wheelbase
Spool
Shocks 1 hole out
Rear:
400 CST Oil #2 or RSD Piston
13.5 Spring
0B Block FR/RR
3.5 degrees rear toe (it seems like a lot, but start here, decrease as grip comes up)
+2 shim in suspension block front
+4.5mm shims in suspension block rear (to achieve 3.5 rear toe)
RSD Short link with +2 shim or Upper inner link on AE shock tower
Wheelbase Standard
Shocks 2 holes out
600 CST in Gear Diff
Battery Forward
Usually on low grip asphalt, this is where I start.
Make sure the Sorex 20R is not too soft and that the tires are not overheating. Is this the same tire the fast drivers are using?

i need some clarification to be sure to apply your setting in good way
Front:
Shocks 1 hole out means that the fit as to be done on the second hole starting counting from outside ?
caster 4 is it the value of caster block or the angle at the wheel ?
Rear:
Shocks 2 holes out same than above
600 CST in Gear Diff ?? the diff will not leak with such a low viscosity ?
cristian or other guy posting there do you already try the solid axel adapter from spec R ? i would like to test it
do it work on dry mode or better add some diff oil inside if the case what grade ?
today during lunch time i made a test doing two packs the car is now easier to drive just working on the ride height of the chassis will continue to work on the roll center reaching the 0B level to start

2 holes out means second hole from the inside. 3 Holes, 3 from the inside.
All electric TC's run fairly light rear CST rating. The TC6 seems to like lighter oil in the diff, especially in low grip. 650 might even be too thick if your track is really slick. 1000CST, as others have suggested is even too much for me on high grip. I feel that as you accelerate, the car tends to over-rotate. Lighter rear oil cured this for me.
If the diff is built properly, it should not leak! If it is the Spec R One, make sure the 2 notches line up on the case and cover. Tighten it well. Some oil will sling out initially from the build, but this should only be the first and second run. Dry all the oil and check to see if it is still slinging oil.
I have not tried the Spec R converter, but it should work as well as a spool. I am going to compare it in weight to the slipper spool, if it is lighter, it should help accelerate a bit better, however the slipper spool saves the blades on your car when you hit something. The converted should be run dry. It is just a lock out mechanism.
For ride height, how bumpy is your track? If it is smooth try 5mm all around, if it is bumpy try 6 or 6.5. You don't really want to go much higher.

DCJ Pictures!!!
These are in production now. We are very happy with how testing is going. They should arrive around late March (this is our estimation right now.) Unfortunately, with the lunar new year holiday, all the factories in China shut down in China for about 3 weeks.

Burgboyz, the nut will actually be silver :S the pictures are just samples. you'll never be able to see the nut while in the car though.
As for the DCJ's they're pretty sweet. Price point will also be VERY NICE... With this design, we are going to be able to price them at about 39.99...
