Ok, so I ordered the new 6.6 . Does the kit come with the aluminum rf hanger for the lay down tranny?
Also, is there anything else the kit needs to complete? I already have the aluminum steering rack and aluminum rear hubs. Is there anything else that people are getting?

Hey all, I don't post too much here but if you ran the 3 gear RB6, I would seriously look at going to the laydown 4 gear setup. I had a similar shock package to my 3 gear execpt the alum front arm mount instead of brass. Car felt very balanced and I had better laptimes, and more comfortable to hit brakes.

Lately I have been using another manufacturer's car. I just broke out the 6.6 last Saturday for a few trial runs and decided to bolt a 7.5 in it. It has the laydown 4 gear transmission in it. Imo, the rear rolls to much in the corner so I need to work on that. Otherwise, it is very smooth and easy to drive.
My kids car is a regular 6 with a converted 3 gear transmission and sideways battery. He will get a 6.6 eventually.

Does anyone know if the Schelle / Avid slipper will fit under the laydown gear cover? Thanks.

YES IT DOES! I've installed my avid setup and it fits great as long as you don't use the spacer on the top shaft between the slipper plates and top bearing. otherwise the slipper assembly is pushed out too far.

Anyone have a 6 lightweight chassis they'd like to part with? Scratched up is fine as long as it's not bent.

I do, and it has zero use on it. I just took out of the package, installed it, then a few days later they released the 6.6 chassis. Didnt even stick the electronics to it.

Thanks! Just what I needed to know. Would you mind snapping a pic?
