Even with the bad weather we ended up with some very good turnout last night. And if Morris and Boyles had brought their cars with them, touring car would have been as tough as ever.

Chuck did a great job being shorthanded. Doug was on hiatus or working some where out of town. (Probably some tropical location with palm trees)

And he already posted the videos and results:

Harding won Nascar 13.5 and McGhee won Touring car.

Well looks like a good time was had for all. I hope to see everyone next friday. This time one of the other teammates should be with me. I'm working on things in prep for the next visit and the big race.

Matt, It's always difficult to tell about outright speed. I dont recall McGhee pulling me down the straight or sweeper. What I did notice is that he's practically not lifting going through the infield. Thus his car may have appeared less 'smooth' but it was definately faster.

In retrospect, I ran a few good laps, but I also made big mistakes, which wasnt very smooth at all!

Here's hoping for good weather for this coming friday. If so it's looking like a trip back to Altoona to race with you guys again. I tried my 13.5 out down here at the "local" track and laid out a 81 in 4:02.59 in the A. The better part is it good for the A main win So you can imagine my looking forward to running it there again

Is anyone running "rear steer" in their pan car? If so how much? Just wondering I've been reading a lot about it but not sure if I want to try it out or not

Are you looking for something specific? I know some people that may have some used pan cars.
